Silver Surfer Quarter Minted for Circulation

Movie marketing is going where no surfer has gone before! 20th Century Fox and the Franklin Mint have joined forces to create the first Silver Surfer US quarter in preparation for the upcoming Fantastic Four movie: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Over 40,000 coins have been dispatched already in special silver-armored vans.

A side of the limited-edition collector's quarter has a color-enhanced image of the Silver Surfer, with the movie's Web site. Finders of the coin can participate in the Search 4 Silver campaign, and can register to win a trip for four to London. Fans of the Fantastic Four will love this coin and will most likely keep it framed and tucked away safely in velvet. For others who are just into it for the entertainment and celebrities, well, they'd probably prefer Jessica Alba. She'd look good on a coin don't you think?

Jessica Alba Twists Her Head in Invisible Girl Poster

This is a poster promoting the latest Fantastic 4 movie, The Rise of the Silver Surfer. It's supposed to be Jessica Alba, but it doesn't seem to be like her and it's hard to distinguish between her front or her back. It's like her head has been twisted around like in The Exorcist movie! While it seems the makers of this poster wanted her to look more like the character in the comic book, with more blond for her hair and bigger eyes, it seems a bit off. What do you think?
