The last incarnation of the power pellet gobbling Pac Man has been unveiled for the Microsoft Xbox. It is the last Pac Man game made by its original developer Toru Iwatani (left) who has announced his retirement from Namco Bandai Holdings. Iwatani is one of the pioneers of the computer gaming which he had helped build into a multi billion dollar international industry. The new version, called Pac Man Championship Edition, is faithful to the first one, which is already 27-years old. This is the second and last game version for Pac Man that Iwatani has designed. Iwatani was eating pizze while making Pac Man and he thought a pizza pie with a slice missing was the perfect shape for the game character he wanted to make.
