Astro Boy Rockets to the Big Screen
Astro Boy, the classic Japanese television anime of the early sixties, also known as Mighty Atom will soon be seen in theaters in full computer-generated wonder. It was originally a manga (comic book) by Osamu Tezuka, "the god of manga." Astro Boy gained worldwide popularity in the 1980s when it was relaunched for the American audience. His hairdo is said to be as familiar a pop icon as Micky Mouse's ears. Don't you think his engine needs a tune up in the poster?
