Astro Boy, the classic Japanese television anime of the early sixties, also known as Mighty Atom will soon be seen in theaters in full computer-generated wonder. It was originally a manga (comic book) by Osamu Tezuka, "the god of manga." Astro Boy gained worldwide popularity in the 1980s when it was relaunched for the American audience.
