Teen Titans to Hit the Big Screen

Producers Akiva Goldsman and Kerry Foster will be producing the live-action version of Teen Titans with Mark Verheiden set to write the screenplay. It'll be interesting to see how this superhero movie plays out. The version being shown on the Cartoon Network certainly doesn't appeal to adults. Still, the Teen Titans have been in comic book pop culture consciousness since the mid-'60s and definitely have older fans, especially those who have followed the comics from an early age. But the question remains on whether they would like to see it made with the appeal of movies like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or Ninja Kids. Perhaps they'd take their kids along to the movie for a nice weekend of bonding and relive good memories of their own childhood. In connection with this production is the greenlight that's reportedly been given to the Nightwing movie. If you're a comic book fan, you probably already know who he is. Yes, he's Robin "The Boy Wonder," the leader of the Teen Titans all grown up (inset).
