10,000 B.C. Comes of Age

What would a movie set ten thousand years before the birth of Christ look like? It would have to be something with saber toothed tigers, woolly mammoths, and lots of fur on primitive hunters and warriors. Okay, so we've got the setting right, but what about the plot? Well, if director Roland Emmerich is to be followed, it would have to be about a hunter (Steven Strait) who leads a band of warriors across a barren wilderness to find a lost city where his love (Camilla Belle) is held captive by a magic user who wants her for himself. Uh, haven't we heard something like this before in that Disney movie with that beast? What's that called again?
