James Cameron's dramatic science-fiction adventure movie, Avatar, will come in 2009 and it promises moviegoers a new visual treat with the use of new techniques developed by Cameron's team and tried and tested Weta visual effects. The movie will be a 3-D showcase. It is about a soldier who gets involved in the struggle for survival of the people of another planet. It stars Sigourney Weaver of Alien fame and Wes Studi, who played Geronimo in the movie of the same title. The cast also includes Giovanni Ribisi and Michelle Rodriguez.
